Ride for Life Race Launch – Parliament House Sydney - Friday 7 August 2009.

The Hon Kevin Greene MP, Minister for Sport and Recreation and Minister for Gaming and Racing, will host a luncheon at Parliament House Sydney to launch the 2009 Ride for Life.

The lunch will take on a new name in 2009 “Poly’s Plate” in honour of the late Andrew Polivis.  Andrew was a wonderful supporter of this day and was extremely appreciative of the great care that he received from Professor Friedlander and staff at Prince of Wales Oncology.

Along with many leading businessmen and dignitaries, guests will be entertained in the Stranger’s Dining Room by media star Glenn Wheeler and special guests along with several Olympic champions who will be in attendance.

Last year 290 people attended and tickets are $100 each and tables of ten are available – lunch is from 12 noon to 3pm.
