Please note all riders will need to be registered and ready to start at least 30 minutes before their event. Inter Club EventsAll entries for age events and graded events will need to be lodged with Cycling NSW. These events are open to registered racing cyclists and entries should be made via website www.nsw.cycling.org.au Corporate Challenge EventTo participate in the Corporate 24k challenge, staged at 12 noon, there are two options: 1. As a team of five competitors. Much focus will be directed to the Corporate Teams award, with the winner declared from the best three performed riders from each team. Their times will be added together and the least accumulated time will be declared the winner of the Corporate Teams Challenge. NB. Members of the team will be eligible for individual prizes as well 2. As an individual. Individual prizes will be awarded to the first three place getters. Recreational Family Fun Ride The recreational family fun ride will commence at 11am and be staged on the same closed circuit as the racing. Sydney Institute TAFE relay challenge EventA Sydney Institute TAFE relay challenge event, organized by Randwick Tafe, will commence at 1.45pm and has been included again this year after the success of last year. In 2009 it will be an 8-lap (16 kilometre) race where each member of an 8 member Tafe team will ride their 1-lap (2 kilometres) to race other Tafe teams from throughout the Sydney Metropolitan area. This will be a keenly sought trophy which was won last year by Sutherland Tafe … good luck to all ! All cyclists will be pleased to have Randwick TAFE NSW back again actively supporting the ride this year with their able bodied masseurs providing FREE massages for those who may need one after their ride. Please remember that this is a generous donation of volunteer time for all to share and if there are many who would like a massage you may need to wait your turn … so bring something warm to wear and something to drink. Prince of Wales Hospital Foundation CupThe Prince of Wales Hospital Foundation event commences at 2.20pm and is a relay challenge for organisations associated with the Prince of Wales Hospital. This new event is a team relay race comprising of four competitors where each member will ride their 1-lap (2 kilometres) to race other teams. |
